FRIDAY in Hamilton saw a reduced number of trade cattle lacking quality, with the best of the heifers making a top of 330 cents per kilogram.

No trade steers were penned and heifers to the trade made a top of 402c/kg and grown heifers made 354c/kg. 

Cow prices were firm on the previous sale, with the best making up to 380c/kg and averaging 332c/kg.

One bull was offered and made 320c/kg.
