THE Hamilton Pastoral and Agricultural Society have confirmed that Sheepvention Rural Expo 2023 will return to a two-day format operating on the Sunday and first Monday of August moving forward.
Following stakeholder feedback, a decision was made to host the event on Sunday and the first Monday in August in the future, allowing a larger demographic of patrons to walk through the gates.
Hamilton P & A Society chairman, Will Kinghorn, also announced that David Botterill will take the reigns as Sheepvention president for the upcoming two years and Darren Schurmann will stand as vice president.
“I’m really excited to have been given this opportunity, it’s been an extremely successful year coming back following a two-year hiatus,” Mr Botterill said.
“I look forward to working with the committee to assist in further evolving the event in years to come.”
Sheepvention Rural Expo will take place on Sunday, August 6, and Monday, August 7, 2023.
