THE Southern Grampians Shire Council (SGSC) has been in the process of inspecting properties across the Shire for overgrown grass and fire hazards with notices being issued accordingly.

At least 221 notices have been issued to residents of the Southern Grampians Shire so far this year to make sure properties reach an appropriate standard under the Country Fire Authority (CFA) Act 1958.
