Agents last week drew for similar numbers to that of a fortnight before with 235 yarded, which consisted of 101 cows, 125 trade and 9 bulls.
The usual buyers were in attendance alongside an additional buyer in what was a firm to dearer market over most categories.
Trade cattle saw more lightweights presented, with the light steers under 350 kilograms reaching 762 cents per kilogram whilst the medium weights from 350-500kg averaged 526c/kg.
Grown steers were in limited supply, with the best returning 500c/kg.
The heifer category was dominated by lightweights under 350kg and these topped at 680c/kg whilst medium weights averaged 406c/kg.
Similar to the grown steers, grown heifers were scarce but finished stronger to top at 450c/kg.
Cow numbers eased slightly, but the best beef cows finished firm to slightly stronger than a fortnight ago with the best cows topping at 376c/kg.
There were fewer lines of light and store conditioned cows which saw re-stockers less active and as a result saw the odd plainer bodied cow finish slightly cheaper than the previous market.
Bull numbers and quality dropped, however the best heavy weights held firm returning 359c/kg.
The light weight bulls under 700kg lacked quality and cover and as a result peaked at 280c/kg.
