THERE was a cheaper trend throughout the market this week at Mortlake with only odd sales of restocking yearlings and the rare vealer sales firm to dearer. Grown steers sold 5c to 10c/kg easier but those to restocking averaged unchanged. Grown heifers were up to 20c cheaper while beef cows made 20c to 30c/kg less. […]
