IT is great to finally have some golfing results to report on, with both the Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday competitions going ahead at Hamilton Golf Club last week.
EVEN though golf is deemed a winter sport, this year has been exceptionally wet not just the Hamilton course, but places like Horsham who traditionally don’t have any issue.

DESPITE the foreshadowing of bad weather, the Portland Golf Club Spring Tournament had a relatively uninterrupted run across its four days of competition.
THE men played for the Rountree Hyslop Cup on Saturday in a 4BBB par event, which is normally played over two rounds, but due to the recent course closure, the event was reduced to one round.
