COMMUNITY sport could return as soon as the end of the month according to regional Victoria’s roadmap for reopening, released by the premier on Sunday.
Regional Victoria will see some restrictions ease at midnight on September 14 with a further easing to the third step two weeks later if new cases average five new cases each day or lower over the fortnight. The third step allows for outdoor contact and non-contact sport for people younger than 19, while outdoor non-contact sport can also resume for adults, which includes cricket.
