Missile lands popular cup win

THE Belinda O’Loughlin trained Muntham Missile proved to be an extremely popular winner of this year’s $60,000 bet365 Hamilton Cup.

The six-year-old mare is owned by local identities including Casterton Race Club president, Bruce Miller, along with Peter Sypott, Mick Reinheimer, Clyde Lawrence, Ewan Herring and Rick Smith.

Due to the COVID border restrictions, the Mount Gambier based O’Loughlin was unable to be on course, with race day duties carried out by an elated part-owner, Smith.
