BOWLS is a sport often associated with older players, but one family is bucking that trend.

The Hadden family has three generations taking to the rink weekly for social bowls in a rare feat for the sport.

Allan Snr, 72, Allan Jnr, 34, and James, 10, have all joined the Grangeburn Bowling Club in recent years and are enjoying the time together along with the flow of competitive juices between the trio.
