A GOOD-SIZED crowd turned out for last Saturday night’s event at Western Speedway, and although the meeting was curtailed after a dramatic racing accident, spectators certainly got value for their money with the fast track conducive to some great competition.
The Triple SSS / MJS series saw the street stocks out in force, with SA drivers, Sam Brumfield, Nathan Thorne and Bailey Heinrich showing the Victorians how it was done.
In the second heat, local driver, Donald Irving, put up a great fight to take out third spot, just behind Jacob Mills and Scott Secombe.
