THE Mininera and District Football League (MDFL) and Mininera and District Netball Association (MDNA) are bracing for the possibility of a premature end to the season.

The current statewide lockdown forced the first week of finals to be postponed with the board meeting earlier this week to determine a path forward if restrictions ease.

The board agreed upon dates to restart and the threshold for when the season will end if no games can get underway.
