COUGARS have stormed into the Portland Touch Football Association division one grand final.
Cougars proved too strong for Sore4days in Thursday night’s qualifying final at Henty Park, winning 11-5
They will now enjoy a week off before the grand final on February 24, awaiting the winner of this week’s preliminary final between Sore4days and Al Tryeda.
Jock Keiller and Jayke Cannon combine for eight tries in the showdown of the number one and two teams in the league.

In the division one elimination final, Al Tryeda defeated Teen Titans 10-2.
Hat tricks to Daniel Jackson, Dylan Jennings and Rhys Weber helped secure a spot in this week’s preliminary final.

Division two
In the division two qualifying final Razzmatazz defeated Xmen 5-4.
Doubles to Brad Holman and Jared Goldsworthy proved to be enough in this exciting matchup that was back and forth the whole game with both teams trading scores.
Razzmatazz will go through to the grand final, and Xmen will face Mighty Mighty House Cats in the preliminary final.

In the division two elimination final Mighty Mighty House Cats defeated Thunder 13-3.
Michael Toohey scored five tries for his side in this one-sided domination of Thunder. Rob Biadacz scored all three tries for his Thunder side.

Division three
In the division three qualifying final Fakari Rugs defeated Panthers 7-6.
A hat trick to Damien King was what sealed the game for Fakari in this comeback effort in what was a close game.
This was another game that was going try for try for the whole game, and King managed to score two tries in the last two minutes to first tie them with Panthers and then to give them the 7-6 lead.
Lachlan Murray scored four of Panthers’ six tries.
Fakari Rugs will advance to the grand final, and Panthers will face Shake & Bake in the preliminary final.

In the elimination final Shake & Bake defeated Midas Touch 9-4.
Stephen Arthur scored five tries, which was a major role in securing the win and locking in a spot in this week’s preliminary final against Panthers.
