The level four team also saw Taylor Crane, Emme Pollock, Ruby Spong and Tyler Tuckey test themselves with Ruby Spong placing fifth individually.

All gymnasts compete vault, bars, beam and floor and need to be proficient in each apparatus.

It was the second event of the season and Tamela Lowery said it was great to see them competing against other clubs regularly again.

“They came from Mildura, Beechport, Ballarat, Beachport and Mount Gambier for this,” she said.

“It is very exciting, they love it and they have such a fun time.

“They perform in front of a big crowd and I think they just zone out and do their thing.”

The club now turns its focus to preparing for the South West Regional Championships, scheduled for September 3-4 at Warrnambool Springers Gym.

The Hamilton Invitational is also coming up and is locked in for October 8.
