WE had 56 men and 22 women playing in Saturday’s stableford event, with some very good scores recorded.

The standout round was recorded by a fairly new player, Scott Anderson, who finished the day with a very credible 45 points, and I am sure the handicapper will be taking some shots off Scott for that very handy score.

A grade was won by John Mitchell, who also had an outstanding round to finish with 43 points, ahead of runner-up Martin Pitts with 41, with John Warden rounding out the placings with 39.

B grade was won by Anderson, four clear of runner-up, Joseph Pritchard, followed by Greg Stevens with 39.
