THE Hamilton Kangaroos suffered a 44-point loss against North Warrnambool Eagles at Bushfield Oval on Saturday, to open its senior Hampden Football Netball League campaign.

On a day when conditions didn’t suit either team, the Roos displayed fast open football for the first two terms and were rewarded for their efforts by leading at half time after booting 10 goals in the first half (with seven goals in the second quarter).
