IT was another big day of racing at the Hamilton Harness Racing Club on Monday with an eight-race program run and won.
Race one was a hot start with Areuohkay saluting with a mile rate of 1.58:7 to give trainer, Janet Exell, a winning start.
The Ben Yole-trained Iamnopet in an even quicker race two, passing the winning post with a mile rate of 1.56:2.
Emma Stewart enjoyed success in race three, as Burton claimed the win with a mile rate of 1.58:7, before the Cardigan-based trainer earnt a back-to-back double in the fourth, as Loco Diablo saluted in an identical time.
Vinny Rock saluted in race five for trainer and owner, Rod Carberry, while race six went to Chedalayo for Sebastian Steenhuis with a mile rate just under two minutes.
Trainer/driver, Jason Ainsworth, got the win with Zwick first past the post in the penultimate race of the day, while Yappas Courage won the last to give David Kemp a positive end to the day in race eight.
The club’s next race meeting is May 15, which also will include a special day for our club members.
