JAYDEN Riddle impressed in his most recent bout last weekend, claiming a hard-fought light welterweight draw against Adem Spaull.

Riddle wasn’t the only winner, with wife, Katie, winning via unanimous decision along with Imogen McDonnell also enjoying victory recently.

Katie’s bout was in Melbourne on Sunday, while Jayden was also in action in Melbourne, with McDonnell and Will Robinson in Adelaide.

Robinson was coming off four straight wins and suffered a loss, while Donald ‘Duck’ Jones has been in action in Brisbane recently.

Mocka’s Boxing Club coach, Ray ‘Mocka’ McIntosh said the results were promising ahead of some big events coming up.

“Katie and Donald hold the number one spots in their division in Victoria,” he said.

“Everything is falling into place, we haven’t really stopped and had a 13-week training program.

“I am one of the state coaches and we have a good mix, so they were all designated with some of the other state coaches in recent bouts.”

The club is pushing ahead with the upcoming state titles from May 26-28, with positive performances there hopefully catapulting them towards the nationals in Western Australia in August.
