Wallis, Ayres win again

BEN Wallis (pictured) was back in action at the Winter Solstice Fun Run on Sunday, taking out the 25km trail run ahead of local runner Troy Jensen. Wallis finished the course in 1hr40min36sec.

WINNER of the inaugural Winter Solstice Fun Run 25km trail run Ben Wallis has done it again, taking out first place honours on Sunday in the men’s division with a time of 1hr40min36sec.

In a blistering time, Wallis finished 19 minutes ahead of second placed local runner Troy Jensen who earned the silver medal with a finish of 1hr59min09sec.
