AFTER a decade of advocacy, lobbying, planning and construction, the long-awaited Alexandra Park pavilion and facilities have finally been unveiled in an event which was hosted yesterday.

The official unveiling saw members of parliament and local council members in attendance, as well as representatives from user groups including Westerns Football Netball Club, Portland Tigers Junior Football Club, Gorae-Portland Cricket Club and Portland BMX Club.
