Portland hosts upcoming games
As has been previously published in the Observer, the Tri State Games is coming to the region next year and will be hosted in 2024 and 2025 by Kyeema Support Services.
The Tri State Games will run from November 10-15 next year with planning already commenced for sporting events and social events at Alexandra Park, Civic Hall, Portland Leisure and Aquatic Centre and other venues, and Kyeema Support Services CEO Julie Amor says community support is growing.
“These games are an absolute delight to be part of and we really want the Portland ones next year to be the best ever and embrace the coastal location since all the games have been inland so far,” she said.
“Any individuals, community or school groups and businesses wishing to help with volunteering, catering and music entertainment please contact Kyeema Support Services for more information.
“Catering opportunities will also be noted next year via an online Glenelg Shire Council events page.”
