THE Hamilton and District Women’s Cricket Association (HDWCA) 2023-24 season comes to an end this weekend with four teams still in contention for the premiership with semi-finals held last night and the grand final staged tomorrow at Kennedy Oval.

Ladder leader, Grampians, is favoured to retain its hard-won title from last season, but Macarthur has been a force in the women’s competition for over a decade and after finishing second, the Demons pose a threat to the Pumas’ back-to-back premiership hopes.
