HAMILTON Raiders fell agonisingly short of a Under-17 South West Victoria Football Association grand final win, going down in extra time to Warrnambool Rangers at Pedrina Park on Sunday.

Scores were locked at 1-1 at full time, with the game forced into extra time, with the teams playing 10 minutes each way, with the Rangers eventually finding the back of the net early in the first period, with the Raiders unable to find a reply, losing 2-1.
