PORTLAND Coasters basketballer Tanielle Knight has been selected to represent Victoria once again at the Australian Junior Championships next year.
Knight is one of 10 under-20 basketballers to be selected from throughout Victoria to compete in the top team while another 10 players will also represent Victoria as part of a development team.
Selection has come after three weeks of trials for the side with Knight showing plenty of promise across the past few years of play.
The tournament, which is rotated throughout the country annually, will take place in Geelong this year from February 14-19.
Knight and her side will come up against some of the best under-20 basketballers in the country. The 18-year-old will be donning the Portland Coasters uniform this weekend for the women’s Country Basketball League team.
