Orange burst out of the blocks and dominated proceedings from the outset to put the result beyond doubt by the main break, thanks to a 40 points to 14 first half.

It was tough going for Black, but the team fought back in the second half and kept Orange to just 15 points, while putting up eight points, but Orange’s dominance ensured the team won comfortably, 55-22.

Grace Cleaver shot a game-high 19 points for the winners, supported by Leesa Iredell and Karoraina Karatau-Keightley who each added 12 points.

Indi Ryan was the Black team’s top-scorer with six points.
