Cricket incident under investigation by HDCA

THE Hamilton and District Cricket Association (HDCA) is currently investigating an incident which occurred during last Friday night’s Twenty-20 match between Hamilton and Macarthur.

The association is continuing the process and confirmed a tribunal hearing would likely be scheduled next week.

Association president, Lloyd Ilett said it was going through a thorough process.

“The investigation is ongoing and the process is being worked through,” he said.

With no sanctions expected to be handed down by the HDCA before today’s round six match-ups, Ilett said everyone would be free to play.
