Pigeon Ponds, Hamilton and Tahara put forward a motion that all weather-affected games should be played outside the standard fixture, likely a Sunday, before the end of the home and away games finish.
Typically rained out games would be a draw but prior to the season club delegates voted to have reserve days where games can be played.
A 7-3 vote for Ponds’ proposal means it passed comfortably and the reserve days will remain only for COVID-affected games, like last weekend’s round 12 fixtures, due to the lockdown announced by Victorian premier Dan Andrews on Friday.
