Hamilton blows Tigers in rep cricket match-up

THE Hamilton and District Cricket Association kept its unbeaten representative record going for the 2020-21 season with a 125-run win against the Portland and District Cricket Association at Monivae on Sunday.

The Hurricanes won the toss and skipper, Mitch Lang, elected to bat first.

Lachie Field fell for three, followed by Lang for two, leaving the home team in some early trouble at 2-10.

Brendan Huf and Tobi Cook steadied the innings with a stunning partnership though, as they kept the runs ticking over regularly and finding the boundary with ease.
