THE 2021 Johnny Mullagh Championship Cup weekend will have an extra drawcard this year.

The Harrow Discovery Centre has recently received the 2021 Mullagh Medal to put on display until it is awarded at this year’s Boxing Day Test at the MCG.

It will be the first time cricket fans will be able to see the medal up close with the award, named after Johnny Mullagh, presented for the first time at last year’s MCG test.

Indian skipper, Ajinkya Rahane, received the inaugural medal and centre manager, Josie Sangster, is excited about the opportunity to offer cricket fans a chance to see Cricket Australia’s newest award up close.

“We have got the 2021 Mullagh Medal and we will have one on display at any one time going forward I believe,” Sangster said.
