ONE of Hamilton’s iconic sporting reserves has been tarnished, as Clem Young Oval was “senselessly vandalised” on Wednesday night.

The oval was not used at all during the 2020-21 cricket season, as the oval underwent irrigation works and was freshly sown, but much of the work has been undone by the “disappointing” act.

Southern Grampians Shire chief executive, Michael Tudball said the incident could push back the timeline for other Pedrina Park upgrades.
