DUNKELD’S Vincent Huf has had a mixed Cricket Australia Under-19 National Championships campaign in Mackay.
Huf is part of the Victoria Country squad and the team won its opening game against Northern Territory, finishing with 1-53 from his 10 overs and scoring an unbeaten two runs from eight balls on Thursday.
The local then sat out Friday’s round two clash with Vic Country losing to Vic Metro, before returning to the playing XI for the round three clash against Queensland Metro in a Twenty20 match-up.
Huf bowled three overs and went wicketless, while conceding 23 runs, as Vic Country lost the Sunday night clash.
Other results will determine where Vic Country finishes with at least one more game confirmed for the team with semi-finals scheduled for Wednesday.
It caps off a busy season for the bowling all-rounder, who has completed his first premier cricket campaign for Geelong, playing in a handful of division one games and the rest in the second division.
