THE Western Waves Under-18 team began the defence of the hard-won state title from the 2021-22 season today when it travelled to Ballarat to tackle Central Highlands.

Last season’s Under-18 team played brilliantly to claim the very first State Championship at this age group in Waves history, and this year’s team is just as determined to claim the title again.
