MACARTHUR had the bye in A grade which allowed the club to select regular top grader, Sam Lambevski in D grade, and he made the most of his time in the middle as the Demons thrashed Hamilton at Haymes Paints Oval.

Hamilton won the toss and sent the Demons into bat with Lambevski (105-retired-not-out) before having to retire.
