Luke looks ahead

AS all local footballers continue to adjust to games after more than 18 months off the field, one Hamilton Kangaroos player has had the 2021 in mind longer than most.

Luke Uebergang has three games under his belt after returning from a third knee reconstruction and has slotted in nicely into the Kangaroos forward line this year.

The 25-year-old has kicked a goal in two of the three games played this season and he said he was back playing without any concerns.

“It is going pretty well, I am playing with confidence now,” he said.

“I am definitely feeling fully confident in it, it is just more about how I manage the workload, I have just got to adjust and take a step back and that is something I am not really good at.
