Curveballs keep coming for players during 2021 season

WITH community sport resuming this weekend, the day-by-day nature of how to attack a weekly routine and prepare for games has been non-existent with players forced to adapt to the on-again-off-again routine COVID-19 has created.

For some players, it has been a tough adjustment, as The Spectator caught up with a familiar Hamilton Kangaroos player to get a player’s perspective on how the landscape has changed in the past 18 months.

Hugh Douglas has been a regular senior player at the Kangaroos for a while now and the 33-year-old said the past season and a half has offered new challenges.
