THE South West District Football Netball League fixture for 2022 has been released with a 16-round season confirmed.

Games get started on April 2 with Dartmoor set to unveil its 2021 senior football Minor Premiership flag in round 1 when it hosts Cavendish, while Westerns will unfurl it’s A grade Minor Premiership flag in the opening round when the Roos host Coleraine.

Once again there will be two teams each club plays three times, with home and away clashes for the other clubs scheduled.

Cavendish will face Dartmoor and Westerns in its triple ups, while Coleraine matches up against Westerns and Heathmere and Branxholme-Wallacedale has the hardest fixture on paper, set to tackle Tyrendarra and Heywood a third time.

The league will play two rounds before sitting out Easter weekend with the only other bye set for the Queen’s Birthday long weekend on June 11.

The final round is locked in for July 30 before the finals get underway on August 6.

The grand final is scheduled for August 27.  

Greater South West Junior Football League games will be worked in to match the SWDFNL fixture when possible, with the junior fixture yet to be released.
