Portland juniors selected for V-Line Cup

FIVE of Portland’s brightest young talents in football are gearing up to take on the best the state has to offer in September, as they’ve been selected to the Greater Western Victoria Rebels’ under-15 V-Line Cup squads.

Three Portland girls (Airlie Aldridge, Lidia Thomas and Skyla Ralph) will be a part of the team of 24 which travels to Shepparton for the carnival, while two boys (Klay Nicholls and Jake Payne) have been selected as part of the 51-boy squad which will be reduced to 48 ahead of the carnival.
