PORTLAND has given a well-represented home crowd something to cheer for, with a 47-point win over Cobden in the Tigers’ first home game for the season, played under the lights on Saturday.

The round two Hampden Football League clash at Hanlon Park was a game of two halves, with the visitors proving to be a challenge for the Tigers early with their speed through the middle and pressure without the ball, before Portland kicked away.
