CAVENDISH created club history when it notched up its first senior Western Victoria Female Football League victory on Sunday, defeating Warrnambool, 4.4 (28) to 3.4 (22).

Having not bothered the scorers in the opening four rounds of the season, that was soon righted, with the home side trailing at quarter time by seven points after booting the opening goal of the game.
