PARKLANDERS returned to a full timetable of events last week in mild and favourable conditions, as summer continues its meek surrender to the autumn season.
Surrender was certainly not on the minds of Parklands’ golfers with the past week’s events keenly contested.
The countback system was employed on numerous occasions to separate the leading contenders. Each golfer and their chosen partner set out to test themselves against other pairs in an 18-hole Canadian with scratch and handicap honours on the line in the Saturday event.
