IN warm to hot conditions depending on north or south venues, midweek pennant got under way on Tuesday.

Round seven of 10 being the draw run down, and Covid still has some club members on edge.

The division one and two games involving RSL Memorial which were scheduled to be played at Grangeburn and Hamilton, through negotiation were postponed, to be played when things settle down or the points will be shared.

This process has been adopted by the Area Competitions Committee.

Division one where Portland is still on top of the ladder even after this round’s second bye for the side.

DIVISION two had Coleraine at home against Penshurst and the visitors had a one-rink win with enough shots to win the day.

Teresa Nolte lost to Branda Uebergang, 15-24, and on the other side, Chris Rigby defeated Ann Rentsch, 19 to 15.

Adding the scores up, it leads to a final result of a 3-339 loss for Coleraine.
