Tim Lloyd’s US Masters trip
HAMILTON golfer, Tim Lloyd, has fulfilled a long-term dream of over 30 years, attending the US Masters.
Lloyd was scheduled to attend the Masters in 2020 before the COVID pandemic saw that trip cancelled.
The local said the highlight of the trip was the first day at the Masters.
“The atmosphere of just being there, for a golfer it is heaven on earth,” he said.
Lloyd followed different players around, but felt that Rory McIllroy was the most impressive.
He spent a week at the US Masters followed by a week in Hawaii before returning home to Hamilton.
Hit them long and straight and enjoy the 19th hole.
