Tuesday

A smaller group took part in our Tuesday beginners and emerging golfer’s event.

In the beginners Grant Hornell continued his good form to post 28 points ahead of Robert Claffey 23 points.

In the emerging group Alan McLaughlin had 24 points with Rosalie Broadfoot finishing on 16 points.

Next week our visiting professional golfer Craig Davies will be running a clinic on the short game for the beginners and emerging golfers.

This is a two-hour session, and bookings are through Pam King or Marg King.

Today the men are playing multiplication pairs, where the score on each hole is multiplied with your playing partner’s score, so hopefully when someone has a good hole their partner doesn’t have a wipe, and it’s always an interesting event.  The women will be playing stableford.

Hit them long and straight and enjoy the 19th hole.
