Saturday
THE captain’s stableford event winner was Allen Flavell with 37 points, ahead of Mark Miller on 36 and Barry Oldaker third on a countback with 34 points.
Nearest the pins went to Flavell on the second and third, George Donaldson on the fifth, and Miller on the 13th.
Longest putts went to Russell Murphy on the first, 16th and 17th Russell Murphy, while Miller saluted on the 18th.
Longest, straightest drive on the ninth was struck by Flavell, while Oldaker collected the birdies and ferrets.
Friday
THE social stroke event was played over the old nine and the club welcomed a visitor from Bamawm.
The winner was Phil Kosch coming in with a nett 32, with Marie Cook second one shot further back, while third place went to Nick Palmer with nett 34.5.
Nearest the pin on the second hole was won by George, John Wilkinson was the longest putt winner on the first, and Cook collected the birdies and ferrets.
Wednesday
THE stableford event, comprising the outward nine plus holes 10, 13, 14 and 18 of the inward nine, saw men’s captain, Oldaker, collected the win with 28 points, holding off a challenge from Bernie Cook, Alex Walter and Phil Kosch, all of whom finished on 27 points.
Nearest the pin on the fifth was Walter, on the seventh hole it was Stewart Turner, while the 13th hole was won by John Wilkinson.
The longest putt on the first hole was holed by Barry Oldaker, with the birdies and ferrets taken out by Phil Kosch.
Tuesday
4BBB style of golf game creates a fun round with two partners playing their own ball, and the score for each hole is the lowest score of the two partners.
Winners were Irene Box and Gina Kelly with 42 points, with Heather Wilkinson and Mary McCallum runners-up with 40 points.
Nearest the pin on the second hole was Heather Wilkinson, the fifth went to Irene Box and Marie Cook on the 15th.
Longest putt on the first was Irene Box, the 17th went to Heather Wilkinson, and Mary McCallum on the 18th.
Birdies and Ferrets was won by Heather Hay.
Enters are also open for the Veterans Sandgreen Championship, which is scheduled for August 12 and 13.
