HEYWOOD remains in touch with the race for the South West District Football Netball League finals, despite going down to Cavendish at Heywood Recreation Reserve courts on Saturday, 49 to 65.

Heywood came out in the first quarter determined to put their visitors under pressure by getting away to a fast start and the game plan came off as the Lions had four goals on the board before Cavendish posted its first.
