HAMILTON’S Melissa Tapper will open her Paris Olympics Women’s Singles campaign on Monday night (local time) when she faces Korean, Yubin Shin, in the round of 64.
Shin is seeded fourth, while Tapper is unseeded, while Tapper is unseeded in her third Olympic campaign.
Should Tapper win through, she will face the winner of Hungary’s Georgina Pota and Germany’s Xiaona Shan, in a quarter final clash.
Tapper’s clash against Shin is scheduled for Monday night at 7pm.
The Australian Women’s Team will face Taipei in the round of 16 on either August 5 or August 6.
