REGIONAL students will head back into classrooms weeks earlier than their Melbourne counterparts.

Hamilton North Primary School principal, Don Beaton said it was great to hear regional students would be back at school for the second week of term four, following premier, Daniel Andrews’ announcement on Sunday.

“We are excited and looking forward to getting everyone back into things, it has been strange with having little to no students at school, so we are keen to get everyone back,” he said.

“The staff and teachers are definitely looking for students to return and jumping back into some sense of normality.”
