BALMORAL Bush Nursing Centre administration officer, Nicole Lease is helping less fortunate women receive essential items through the #ItsInTheBag campaign.

This is the third year Ms Lease has been contributing to the campaign and this year, along with the help of many community groups and families, she donated 116 bags.

Three different bags can be made up and donated; an adult bag, mum and bub bag, and a teen bag, all including essential items to suit their needs.

The items cover everything from general hygiene in toothpaste, conditioner, shampoo and deodorant to sealed period products suitable for younger and older women and nappies and dummies for babies.

Ms Lease was driven by her generosity and willingness to help others.

Last year was the first time she had been able to incorporate the community with the initiative and said the response was overwhelming.
