AFTER missing last year’s event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Good Friday Appeal Fundraising Bake and Produce Sale will return next week.
For the first time in the event’s history, it will go ahead on Good Friday, April 2 at Roxburgh House.
Organiser, Erika Murphy, was excited to get back to raising money for the Royal Children’s Hospital after missing the event last year.
Baked goods, preserves, savoury items and much more to be sold with all profits going towards Hamilton’s appeal tally.
Erika said the fundraiser was a way for her and her family to say ‘thank you’ and give back to a cause that had supported them.
Her daughter, Aliera, has spent a lot of her childhood under the care of the Royal Children’s Hospital team.
“We like to say thank you for everything they do with Aliera,” Erika told The Spectator.
