A FORMER Hamilton resident is about to release a beautifully illustrated children’s book on one of Australia’s most unique historical characters – Edna Jessop.

Neridah McMullin said she had loved quintessential Australian tales for a long time and Edna Jessop’s story was an important one to keep as part of the nation’s cultural heritage.
