COVID-19 lockdowns and upgrade works have meant the doors of the Hamilton Gallery have been closed for since February, but as of yesterday it reopened to the public and presented an exhibition of works put together by some of Australia’s best artistic minds.
Th reopening comes at an opportune time for the gallery as it also celebrates its 60-year anniversary, launching its new exhibition, HG:60.
The HG:60 project includes some of the gallery’s best collections and most significant objects not only on display at the gallery but also featuring in a 200-page publication.
